I love going through the produce section with my 2 1/2 year old and asking her to play the "color game" with me! I shout out a color and she finds a fruit or vegetable that is the same color and we put it in the cart to try a recipe for that week! One time, I shouted yellow and was sure she was going to pick bananas (as usual) but she picked a spaghetti squash! So we made squash that night! its a fun way to get your kids involved in shopping, healthy choices, and adds variety to your regular shopping list. We always leave the store with a colorful variety of food! Try it out!
