Awesome! One of the things we'll talk about on MomTV tomorrow night is "reframing" - when I spoke to you today and we talked about taking the distance and speed anxiety out of the game everything changed for you. You already had proof that could run for 40ish minutes and not die... and that was with fairly good exertion! If you can get yourself to think more in terms of time and not your pace it definitely makes things less scary, doesn't it?

One of the things to remember is that this is about more than a 13.1 mile run! I love that you said training for life!

Me too! My hurdle last week was my health - allergies killed me and insomnia struck ... I had about 3 days with no activity and that drives me stir crazy but at the same time makes it hard to push myself out the door to resume routine ... but I knew if I started out walking i'd likely end up running .... again, it was about more than the run!
